So its been over two months since my last entry. Yes, I'm aware that pretty much voids the whole point of having a blog, but oh well, I've been busy. Busy with what? Oh you know - work, the boy, 2 weddings and a funeral.

Work nearly broke me, but just barely it didn't. My boyfriend is amazing and wonderful and sweet and I sometimes wonder whether he'll wake up one day and say to himself "she's too much trouble". Amanda got married,  her wedding was lovely. Andy got married, I missed his wedding but did go to see some of my closest friends: Kali, Talvi and Ali. Yes, there was a death in the family and it was extremely tragic due to the nature of the beast...but let's not get into that tonight. I'm not emotionally up for it.

An old high school friend gave me a call yesterday - totally random but oddly nice to hear from her. Natalie was always fun - neither of us could remember why we stopped talking. Hmmm - oh well, whatev.

Speaking of high school friends,Kyle was in town touring with a Broadway play - yes, the man made it in the big apple!  And some day he'll be famous and I will get to go hob nob with all the famous actors and singers...oh my luv of the theater will only get stronger and then it really will mean trouble!

I just got back from Cozumel, Mexico!!! My scuba diving trip was AMAZING!!! We did 5 dives - the deepest I went was 93 feet. The marine life was so diverse - I felt like I was at the Aquariam. We saw all kinds of fish, sea turtles, groupers, a manta rey, a nurse shark (!!!!!), baracuda, lobster, and a big ol' eel! We went dancing at Carlos and Charlies' next to the infamous Senor Frogs! We rented scooters and jetted around the island like a little band of rufians...we crashed the beach and enjoyed margaritas and relaxing in hammocks...What a wonderful trip! Everyone should go to Cozumel!!!!

I'm now only one dive short of getting my advanced certification - I just need a night dive. I highly recommend diving to everyone --- Its a blast!!

We took a bunch of pics, I'll post 'em on thefacebook. We also hired a videographer to film the last two dives - if you come visit me you can watch it. :)

So I need to get better about posting things again....however, we have no internet at the apt and I blame that on my lack of postings.

Christiaan's coming to visit on Wed! I'm so excited. He, Robin, and I were all little pledges together back in the day...and now we reunite! Yey! Robin called me today pretending to be a pissed off buyer that I'd supposedly sold a house to. Didn't work - I didn't fall for it - but I couldn't figure out who he was till he told me.

My new boy is wonderful! (sigh) Have I told you this? Lots of juicy details but I won't give them to you. But he's full of surprises - especially when you've been having a rough day. He's so encouraging and supportive.... along with sweet and fun and laid back. Who knew Indians were so enchanting?

I leave for Cozumel in two weeks. Diving trip. FUN FUN FUN!!!

On a crappier note - health issues. Hopefully nothing too bad - will find out on Thursday.

Work's going very well. Luvin' it! And we're going salsa dancing on Thursday night - should be lots of fun! My boy's getting his first lesson on Thursday before we go out - hahaha - we'll see how it goes!

Hehehe - wow - I totally forgot that I never finished documenting my European trip. Got too busy I guess. Well - the short of it all - we saw lots of crazy stuff in London like the London Tower and the London Eye, accidentally stumbled into a haunted house called the London Dungeon thinking it was a historical tour. We went to Spain, met some fun Spainards, they took us dancing till 5 or 6 AM! Then one of 'em decided to staulk us and tracked down our room number and called us!!! We flipped out! Ran around Madrid, got totally lost on the bus system, went shopping and sightseeing and at the end of our trip dropped dead with exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

I got back on a Saturday at about 4 in the afternoon. David picked me and Traci up at the airport and reminded me that he had tix for us to go see a tango performance with Christine that very night! Is it a surprise to anyone at all that the moment I hit American soil I caught a cold and was sick for no less than one week? I managed to get my coworker and roommate sick who both respectively went and got their boyfriends sick.

So what have I been up to since mid March??? Well, I've been working a lot - work's going really well. I also have a boyfriend now who takes up a great deal more time than I remembered boyfriends taking up. Ah well. That's alright...I don't mind. I started my scuba diving certification class and completed two pool dives, the knowledge reviews, and only just this past Fri/Sat completed my four open water dives out at Lake Travis in Austin! I know, I know - despite my swearing off camping for life I did go camping again...and it wasn't too bad.

I think I may have a picture or two to post... let's see if I do.

The British Museum was incredible!

As we were walking up we found statues of lions and like little kids jumped up on the statues to take some goofy pictures. Once inside you walked into these huge galleries and at times I wondered if I were in England or Egypt. I saw rows and rows of reliefs, several sarcofigi and a number of statues - the ones that are not totally free standing but still attached to a larger structure on one side. I'll have to post some of those pics. I was so excited to finally see what I'd studied back in high school. Allison said that Suz was even more excited than I when they went back in college.

We saw a hundred Greek statues and several fascinating painitngs including a famous rembrandt and I think this is where we saw El Greco's most famous painting. Here's the link of the exhibitions that are currently on display.  http://www.thebritishmuseum.ac.uk/whatson/exhibitions/index.html

Hehehe, as were leaving we noticed a sign most prominantly posted saying No Climbing on the lions....oops!
